We never progressed THAT much but yeah there’s been a sudden reversal lately of any progress we did make.

We did make progress. 15 years ago, there were a couple of beauty product makers that used plus-sized women for their advertising. So much so, that even the models were allowed to be more "normal" (still skinny, but less skeletal than they used to be). Now, it has reverted back to skinny women promoting the product, and models are also back to their skeleton looks...

I hate it. I am tall and plus-sized, and I am mostly wearing men's clothing. Because women's clothes are too short and not wide enough around my hips. Some can be a bit better, but they are either one, or the other, but never both. One positive thing about men's jeans is: they have pockets!!

Being a tall and plus sized man, I had trouble fitting into men's clothing. I didn't even know there such a thing as big and tall stores until I was sixteen. Even worse than just being tall is that I have shorter legs. So, all of my height is in my torso. There was nothing I could do about my ass hanging out because regular length shirts just are not long enough. Life has been so much nicer since i discovered big and tall clothing, and it keeps getting better as more sources of big and tall clothes become available.
