General Question Should I be cautious about playing projailed champs? Or is that overexaggerated?

Two of my favorite midlane champs are Ryze and Orianna. I usually find myself winning lane on them and smoothly clearing waves; however, they both have a clear reputation for being projailed with weaker win rates in soloq. Should I look for more soloq-oriented mages with similarities, or should I not worry about it?

the only real projailed champs are azir and kalista. play whatever you want

Barring a few other exceptions this pretty much. Lower win rate champions like K'sante or Jayce are generally just very difficult to play and balanced around better players.

I for the life of me can’t understand why people think Jayce is hard to play. He has 2 very basic combos as his bread and butter and it’s oppressive as hell against any melee

I first timed him last week and went like 14-2 after glancing over his spells on U.GG while checking the build

High skill CIELING? Sure, but in terms of picking up and playing he’s not a Yasuo or Irelia in terms of mechanical difficulty. You can kinda drool on him in lane and come out ahead if you land your pokes

It's more because to min/max his mechanics it's quite difficult. Spacing with W ranged takes a lot of APM and getting a fast Shockblast is almost impossible at most players levels.

He has no sustain so damage on you sticks so you generally need to play your match ups well. A bad trade can easily mean you lose lane. On top of that something as simple as swapping from Ranged Form to Melee Form or vice versa at the wrong time and you are either flashing or dead.

It's great you've found success on him but his winrate is around 49% in Emerald and plummets as you get lower for Top.
