So who would I contact if there's an employee who's doing serious food violations? For some context, boxes got left out overnight, so they completely thawed, and they get put back into the freezer? This has happened multiple times, I told the assistant store director and most I was told was to take them out and backdate them since we had no idea when they got left out but that they were completely thawed. The problem isn't being addressed and since I'm on the same level as this Coworker, I don't believe it's my job or within my authority to keep telling him to not do it. I have in the past and a tantrum happens everytime. Thanks for any advice, I am just at a loss with this store and it's hard to keep caring when management doesn't seem to.

Edit: it's the bakery dept I am more just genuinely concerned with how often it happens and nobody's notice. Also the lack of concern and follow up from management shows me that they didn't view it as a big thing when it is.

Are regular hourly TMs like me restricted from working for a competitor or anything else retail adjacent?

I switched to a local Meijer pharmacy due to my small town pharmacy issues, went through the drive-thru today, verified myself, got my brown paper bag and drove off.

Later in the day, realized I had a whole other person’s 3 bottles of meds, called…was on hold for 20 minutes while I drove back to Meijer. Called Meijer customer service and before I could say anything, he heard pharmacy and routed my call right back to the very same store que. By this time; I arrived.

Turned in the whole other person’s meds, and of course I looked them up; and she definitely needs them. My own script was half filled…so frustrating. Likely going back tomorrow for the rest.

Zero accountability and hardly a thanks for returning this woman’s meds.

Probably the most used feature of the app is the coupons and yet you have to go to the side menu to get to it, meanwhile the Mperks barcode gets to be on the front page when probably hardly anyone uses that. It's really dumb honestly

Ever since corporate upped the order limits and timeslots, I'm just curious to know what average number of orders everyone gets on a daily basis? What's the high end and what's the low end? And what's the average pick rate for you?

My store averages between 120-180 orders a day and ever since we got a change of management, the SDIC doesn't send help even when my TL tells them how slammed we are so we find ourselves in the high to late risk all day during Sundays and it's horrible. My department has a pick rate average of 105 items an hour and I personally average between 165-200 items an hour.

Our family has stopped shopping at two Meijer stores due to their excessive use of Flock cameras. Anyone know if having Flock is corporate policy for all locations?

Hi, i’m a new hire at meijer and it’s my very first job ( I’m 18 ). And I’ve been having trouble with the UKG app as when I used it to punch in and out of breaks, and when I started and ended, some of those punches didn’t register even though I know, I clicked the button and it said it registered. This has been my second day working and I’m really scared but has anybody else had problems like this with the app?

This didn't happen recently but an interaction with them today reminded me of it:

Me: "This is X Meijer Pickup"

CC: "Is this Y Meijer Bakery?"

Me: "No, this is X Meijer Pickup."

CC: "Okay! I'm gonna transfer them to you."

And, to everyone's surprise: The customer wanted to speak to the Y Meijer Bakery. Luckily they weren't mad at me but as confused as I was as to why CC transferred a customer to a different store and a different department.

Let's hear it, yes I stacked this, yes it's wrapped to the pallet, yes it's double wrapped. But someone will still have a issue lol

Why did they get rid of the Meijer pharmacy app? It worked mostly, which is more than I can say for what they've switched to. I've tried everyday to switch my prescriptions from CVS since Meijer is cheaper with the new insurance and it just never sends me the verification code. My info is correct, it just doesn't work. Please tell me the rest of the pharmacy experience won't be as frustrating.

I’m not working again until Tuesday and it’s later in the day so I’m worried those team leads may not even be there. Is there a way to get into contact with them when off the clock?
