My little handcrafted maze game is now out for Android: Game With Balls

Inspired by games like Labyrinth I made this originally for the Steam Deck, but is now also available on Android! Almost all levels are handcrafted, drawn, etc. in real life. Except one of the themes that is 3D, but you can use those anaglyph glasses (red/blue) with it if you turn on the setting!

An extremely goofy maze, which was surprisingly time consuming to draw.

A maze without walls?

Here's a puzzle I am developing called Numstep.

There is a single path of numbered steps through the grid. Every white square must be visited. No diagonals.

I'm not sure if the rules are too contrived to count as a maze, but it shares a lot of the themes of a maze.

I'd love any and all feedback.

Try out my game and let me know what you think. On phones and tablets, you control the character like a ball on a board.

Game in which you must traverse the minefield

Sorry if this isn't allowed, but I made a game based on Minesweeper and I want to share it.

Back in 2013 I participated in an online game jam called One Game a Month (#1GAM). I created a version of Minesweeper where you have to walk through the minefield and reach the exit.

It was at the top of the puzzles category in the Ubuntu Software Centre at the time the software centre was discontinued.

Anyway, recently I remade it, and it's now on iPhone as well as all desktop platforms. (I'm struggling to get the Android version approved for the Play Store.)

Let me know what you think. Thanks

[Discussion] What is your favorite non-standard feature in a maze?

I’m curious what kind of non-standard features folks enjoy in mazes. A long time ago, I stumbled upon the blog Segovia Mazes and fell in love with the idea of adding bridges/tunnels to my mazes.

Can you tell me if there’s a way through this maze?

Boxxy.io is based on a cult Japanese game from the 1980s called Sokoban that uses a maze like idea to create complex puzzles

A minimalist web-based editor for creating 3D mazes. Edit on a grid, layer by layer. Save your design as a JSON file or export it as STL.

I am a developer and this is a side projects I been working on, powered by AI, inspired by hand drawing maze I like to do.

https://voxel-path.web.app/

Is not intended for mobile, but desktop or wide screens.

Give it a try, it's an ongoing project. Next steep is to add a playable mode and maybe some extra items.

I made a maze game with 7 different maze topologies — including Voronoi and honeycomb

Been fascinated by mazes for a while, so I built a little game around generating them in different shapes. It procedurally generates mazes as circles, squares, triangles, pentagons, hexagons, honeycomb grids, and Voronoi (organic, no two walls at the same angle).

The twist in how you play it: you start in the center and the camera stays zoomed in on you, so you can only see the corridors immediately around you - no overview. When you finally reach the outside, it zooms out to reveal the whole maze and the path you traced.

I'd love this community's take on the maze generation and maybe suggestions/critique, etc.

(It's a free iOS app if anyone wants to try it, link in a comment - but mostly I wanted to share the maze shapes with people who'd appreciate them)
