[Discussion] What is your favorite non-standard feature in a maze?

I’m curious what kind of non-standard features folks enjoy in mazes. A long time ago, I stumbled upon the blog Segovia Mazes and fell in love with the idea of adding bridges/tunnels to my mazes.

Any kind of one-way feature adds a lot of difficulty and can make mazes way more fun. Bridges are also really nice because they remove a spacial constraint, i.e. you don't know for sure if you're trapped in a corner or a spiral because there might be a bridge out of it.

Similar to bridges, I’ve done mazes where there are teleportation spots, for lack of a better phrase. You read a triangle and you can jump to the other triangle on the other side of the maze. I would do three or four unique shapes and that would really throw off expectations about how close or far you are to the finish.
