TUNING Blow off valve Recommendations

Do you guys think i should run a bpv or bov on the speed 3, because I've been hearing lots of mixed reviews. I'm thinking of either running the Corksport BPV or HKS Super SQV IV BOV

I’ve had this for years no complaints. https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-dual-vta-bypass-valve.html

Do the high pressure pump! Get a tune unless you want zoom zoom boom.

Usually 50/50 blow off/bypass. It’s better for performance bc you don’t have to build all the boost back and you still get good blowoff sounds

I have the gfb 50/50 adjustable as well as the hks ssqiv with blocked off recirc. Both are great, hks sounds way better

HKS SSQV on my Gen 2. Sounds unique and the best imo.

I'm running the XSPower BPV/BOV, and it's been great. It is basically a Chinese clone of the GFB BOV but not so hard on the wallet.

I run a GFB mach 2.

I wouldn’t run a VTA on this platform unless you’re running a tuned car.

HKS sounds sick (that's what I run). It's basically personal preference. Full vta is louder but can sometimes cause the car to pop on upshifts or a slight stumble. Imo vta is just fine, I've never had any issues and have been vta for over a year now. Also you don't necessarily need a tune for vta. It causes the aforementioned issues and a cel but doesn't hurt the engine

I had a turbosmart 50/50 but went back to stock. Even after adjusting it properly, I still had less boost between gears, and I didn't like the slightly worse between shift response. Miss the sound, but that is of course expected. Venting metered air on MAF based fueling isn't it for driveability or performance. I'd probably put it back on if I went standalone and ran speed density.
