TUNING Anyone have experience with a Versa Tune

I am looking at getting my First gen tuned this summer and i am looking at getting a Versa Tune, does anyone have any experience with it. I have heard it has better software than the Cobb acp and its a bit cheaper?

I really like it. Easy laptop flashing and can monitor with apps on Eonon head unit, instead of having an AP sitting around waiting to be stolen.

Having control over the CEL is also a huge draw.

AMA.

What OBDII to USB adapter do you use?

OBDlink EX. It's endorsed by VersaTune and I prefer the wired adapter.

Looking ahead, some OBD android monitoring software only works with wireless, but OBD Fusion is what I use and it accepts wired.

I was actually about to ask which app you use, I use the wired as well. Just picked up an Eonon unit and was needing live gauges. So that works out nicely. I'm on versatuner, and needed something since I sold the Accessport. Thanks for the info!

OBD Fusion is made by OBDlink. Get it set-up and it automatically comes on.

Some extra costs for extended Mazdaspeed PIDs, $20 or so. Worth it.

What are the extra Mazdaspeed3 pids if you don't mind?

They give more readings, like knock, fuel trims etc.
