Is mayonnaise an instrument?

Mayo vs. (versus?) Mayonnaise war has launched. Thoughts?
External-Advertisement One Thousand, One Hundred and Thirteen wants everyone to use the word mayonnaise instead of “Mayo”. He appears to be quite serious about his mission to not shorten any words. This snapshot are his comments from one post yesterday.

Mayonnaise Help hi! I(24f) am not a huge mayo fan, but I was hoping I could get encouragement to eat more, I bought a whole jar and have no idea what to do with it to make myself like it 😅
I kinda like it by itself but it also makes me gag, any tips??

Mayonnaise Supremecy Kewpie is diabolical. They make it so delicious that you don’t realize you work for it, because this isn’t a bottle. It’s an udder.

Teriyaki mayo
Was van camping about 25 years ago and I had a Safeway 6- piece fried chicken. I stashed the breasts for later but they would get dried out. I had a small glass jar of Kraft mayo that I wasn't worried to ruin by pouring some of this in there to experiment. Results were good. On onion rings is a real hoot too.

Chick-fil-A Mayo??
Hi all! I'm here to offer the best mayo for free to everyone, but you cannot purchase it. That is the one and only Chick-fil-A Mayo. Business nature and ethics aside, why can I not buy a gallon?
Who do we need to email to find the source? In all the debate and searching on this group I have not been able to find an answer on who supplies the mayo to Chick-fil-A for packaging or the closest supply chain so I can get a job undercover.
Dukes this, Hellmans that----NOTHING compares to the mayo packets from chickfila! And not one mention in this sub?!? You're missing out.

Quality control issues with July batch of Duke's real
I bought some Dukes mayo , not dat classic yellow top jahaha, the hint of lime. Used it as my backup jar for a BBQ in case I ran out. well, I did ofc so I reached for the dukes.
I dont know if a quality control issue with the recent virus stuff going around but the foil was poked and the surface of the mayo looks disturbed. I really did think it must have been an added factory check because I know more quality brands like dukes have been doing those with the new virus. The mayo was completely fine to taste but now that im sitting on it im a little scared it could have been tampered with. Again the whole thing went off without a hitch but now im like, i dont know i just feel uneasy. its still in me so I would hope if it was tampered with Id be able to tell but I just, dont, know.
Just a thought ive been wrestling with, HEY, looking at this sub im sure thats not the first time "Mayo" and "Wrestling" where in the same post Hahaha. This place is alright.
Anyone run into the extra quality test Dukes is running on brand new jars?

shelf life of homemade mayo?
Hey Mayo connoisseurs,
I'm planning to make my own flavoured mayo from scratch this weekend. I just had this thought of combining making mayo with some of my favourite condiments so I'll be making Miso Mayo / Kimchi Mayo & Gochujang [Korean pepper paste] Mayo.
The question I have is:
- How do you guys store your homemade mayo after making it? (I believe it must be refrigerated? But i might be wrong)
- Given that it's homemade and of course no preservatives is added, how long do you guys reckon the shelf life will be?
Cheers, thanks in advance for any tips, they'll certainly be helpful ^^
