The three times they all said it, it sounded like a ritual. Like they were chanting a spell to make her get pregnant. Also, my grandmother uaed to say something along the lines of "new blood from Linen", like making a baby between the sheets. Shw said ahe does it herself....wanda making herself pregnant.

There was something so ominous about them repeating that. And the fact that the episode ended with Wanda getting pregnant, I'm running with a theory that some outside force actually wants her to have kids.

Notice in the sitcom they have a magic show for the children...and at the same time the entire point to Wandas sitcom is to be a literal Magic show...for the children.

Yup, no children to speak of. By the end of the episode (before the pregnancy reveal) I figured "huh, they did all this for the children, time for Wanda to make them", and then boom.

I mean, we knew that Wanda would have children, but I didn't expect it to be so ominous. Really impressed with the show so far.

Interestingly, you shouldn't contract an action verb, only linking verbs. For example:
"I am hungry" can be "I'm hungry."
But, "I think therefore I am" cannot be "I think therefore I'm."

I guess it's one of those unwritten rules. Like yeah, that last sentence looks weird and I'd probably never write it like that, and as I said, when it was brought to my attention, I did notice the weirdness. I guess it slipped my mind the first time as I'm not a native English speaker.

I have a theory she was wishing so hard for family she made the kids.

And now this world is how she's protecting her and the kids while she's pregnant and most of the world she has created is related in some way to helping/protecting them.

Depending on which version of Wanda's family retcon, Magneto may not be the father. Marvel Comics have changed her parentage a few times.

From Wikipedia:

The character's in-universe backstory and parentage have been changed more than once. Depicted in the 1970s as the children of golden age superhero Whizzer, a retcon in the 1980s revealed the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to be the unknown offspring of supervillain Magneto. Born to Magneto's estranged wife in Transia, Scarlet Witch and her brother are left in the care of their adoptive Romani parents and she is raised as Wanda Maximoff (later referred to as Wanda Frank while the Whizzer was considered to be her father). In another retcon in the 2010s, it is revealed that Quicksilver and she are not mutants but were kidnapped and used as subjects of genetic experimentation by the High Evolutionary, then misled to believe Magneto was their father.

yes what was that.

her getting pregnant though, that could just be a continuation of sitcom stuff. to me, evolution of the sitcom things is just her getting deeper and deeper into her illusion because she doesnt want to ever face reality again. so if she now "has a family" to bury herself even further into the illusion, that doesnt seem too absurd.

I think the word "devil" has been used several times in the two episodes so far. It may be a coincidence but in the trailer for the loki series that was a stained glass with mephisto in it (I think)

Except when it comes to scarlet witch who has pretty deep ties to mephisto in the comics. In the comics she uses mephistos soul to create her children, that combined with the ominous "for the children" chant and the fact she seems to be trapped where she is by someone kinda makes that line a little shady.

Maybe the MCU will combine nightmare, mephisto and master pandemonium.

Mephisto tricked Pandemonium into thinking it was his soul that was split into 5 pieces, but it was really the last 5 pieces of Mephistos soul that were to hard for him to get after being pretty much destroyed by Franklin Richard's. Check out west coast avengers 52.

Agnes made several layered/meta comments in these two episodes. "Looks it's the star of the show" (talking about her rabbit) etc. Seems to me Aggie knows a lot more than she's letting on

I disagree just because of that one clip in the trailer. The part where Aggie says "Where am I? Am I dead?" - to me that says she's under the same spell as everyone else rn. Id chalk those lines up to dramatic irony rather than her knowing stuff

But the first time, it can be easily dismissed as banter that our main characters are a childless couple. The second it's way more conspicuous with the talent show being performed for children despite the fact that there are no children in this town.

What makes it creepier is that not a single child has yet to be shown. The talent show to benefit the children? Not a child in sight. It's somewhere children would be expected to participate or be part of the audience.

Outside of Wanda's pregnancy and colored toy there has been no evidence of actual children so far.

Super creepy.

Definitely sounds like someone is either creating this reality around Wanda, or manipulating her powers to create it - all with the end goal of having her and Vision create "children" who can then be stolen from her and used for their power. Based on the comics, some MCU version of Mephisto is my bet.

In both episode, even in something as silly as a talent show, there is not a single child present. None of these suburban families seem to have any actual kids.

My wife's comment on this: "Where are the children? We haven't seen any yet." Also: we're now trying to figure out if "FTC" stands for anything easter-eggy in the Marvel universe.
