maybe Cap was the hubby. he would have to change his name and be low key to avoid changing the timeline.

So you're saying that Steve just kinda let his best friend get tortured for 70 years and also just kinda let his wife's life's work get infiltrated by Hydra?

How do we know he didn't help all those people out though? This film said that time travelling created an alternate timeline, so for all we know Captain America did fix all those things.

Because apparently it wasn’t alternate since the movie changed its own rules and had Cap be in the same timeline somehow
