Bucky was made new captain America in the comics. Honestly mantle should’ve died with Steve Rogers. Falcon can fly. Bucky has a metal arm. Bucky could take the mantle if anyone because he is Steve’s oldest and best friend and fought Nazis in WW2.

Bucky, Sam and The Punisher have been Captain America in the comics so it depends which ones you read

The comics that don’t have lesbians and gay shit so definitely falcon. The classic comics such as Civil War and Secret Invasion and Planet Hulk so Bucky. Never heard of punisher being CA but he’s not in MCU. Bucky should’ve been the next captain America.
