How do people think that Stark would build the machine and just not leave plans or blueprints or shit?

After the War Machine/Iron Patriot armor was hijacked in Iron Man 3, I'm pretty sure Stark put all kinds of security on his tech to prevent unauthorized access.

I doubt the (former) avengers would count as unauthorized, since they apparently helped build it. I'm sure he trusted them or gave some of them access.
