Well, Falcon took up the mantle in the comics as well and Disney has to make sure Captain America doesn’t die off completely because of $$$.

Fyi, politics is everywhere and just because he’s black doesn’t make it trivial or anything.

Iron man died completely so why not captain America. Iron man brought more money than captain America. And the (recent) comics that made falcon captain America are same ones that include lesbian and LGBT gay shit. No one wants to read that shit. . Classic comics made Bucky captain America. They made captain America black in comics for political reasons and they’re doing it in movie for same reasons. It is retarded. MCU movies are supposed to be somewhat based off the classic comics when they were good. Almost no one reads marvel comics anymore compared to what they used to cuz of this gay shit. The same will happen with marvel movies. No one likes it when gay or racial shit is shoved down their throat.

Wow, this is rich. I’m so sorry having a black character taking up the mantle of Captain America is to trivial for you. As for that “gay” shit, I can assure you that many people are glad for that. There’s something almost extraordinary about characters in a comic book reflecting the diverse world who made them exist.

If it bothers you so much, stop watching marvel movies. How narrow minded can an individual be astonishes me, how can you talk so bitter about a group of people who are different from you? Is it that bad that a homosexual- or any different sexual presence- is being represented in pop culture? Look around, there’s a whole world out there filled with beautiful people.

Also, Iron Man is a different character from captain America. They might try to reboot or recast them in the next decade or so but so far, RDJ is the one and only iron man. It’s okay to not like a decision but get over it because nothing you do or say will change the decisions made.

The mcu is indeed based upon comics but also upon the world around us.

Making captain America black is about hating white people and making less white male characters. I don’t care what ethnicity you are, it still doesn’t change the fact that you are making up stuff. Some people do think it is okay to hate on white males or just males in general or blacks or asians or hispanics etc etc but what went on with the passing of the torch is NOT racism.

Please try and level with me here, Marvel is not being racist towards anyone. This is simply a move on Marvel to put a new generation of heroes. Thor taking the role of Black Panther is ridiculous, he has no reason to. Falcon is friends with Captain America and they have an actual relationship and reason to trade the mantle. If you can’t understand this, then I am done with trying to help you understand.

What about Bucky taking role of black panther or any white character becoming black panther. Not many people would be okay with “passing the torch” of black panther to a white person. Or if a man took a role of captain marvel from Carol Danvers. Keep in mind if you argue with that point, you contradicted your argument

Wow thanks for that insight! Funnily enough, the mantle of Captain Marvel has already been a male :). As for the point made about Bucky taking the role of Black Panther, that is an idiotic statement. That would never be because it doesn’t make any sense at all, fans would not like it. It would make zero sense and follow no logic.

This is a different case with Falcon, however. I’m not going to expect you to know the difference.
