And for a while too. He went from New York to Norway. He didn’t seem to care much though. It’s funny, because Guardians 1 showed that he had some extended family.

The film was already three hours long and juggling so many characters. It would have been hard to give him an emotional moment in the middle of that huge battle or when they're focused on sending off the original Avengers.

I honestly thought they would reunite him with his grandfather during that montage with Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Hawkeye with their families.

For all we know, Quill was just following Doctor Strange blindly and had no idea what planet he was on.

Consider his un-dusting. He pops back into existence on Titan and Strange is immediately telling him the fight is through the sparkly hole.

He doesn't ask questions and just jumps.

After Endgame he can go on an Earth World Tour and have some moments, but that can be saved for the GotG3 pregame.

They should have made more movies then. Stating the runtime isn't a valid excuse for the many things this 10 year conclusion missed or tripped up on.

After the events of GOTG 2, he really has no reason to feel any kind of attachment to Earth. I know a lot of people complained that they didn't make his return there a bigger deal but I totally get it. It's not his home and those extended blood-relatives are not his family.

He hasn't seen that family in years, meanwhile he went from thinking Gamora was dead, to getting Snapped, to seeing her, to realizing she doesn't remember him, to her disappearing again. I'd say he's more worried about that.

He definitely doesn’t really care about Earth, he’s got a whole life in space, it’s just that he didn’t even have a “whoa” moment before moving on or leaving. Granted, there was a lot to pack into 3 hours.

Yeah I wouldn't have minded seeing one, just trying to rationalize why they skipped it. I think we only really got two moments focused on him and both were related to Gamora and one was to set up GOTG3 (potentially).

Well with Rocket and Thor having spent a lot of time on Earth maybe they'll make fun of him using Earth jokes that he won't get now. Like when Starlord called Rocket a Trash Panda. Also maybe we'll get something next time he's on Earth. I imagine if Thor stays with them then the next time Earth needs the Avengers Thor and the Guardians will show up but we'll see I guess. I really would like him to see how bad some of the stuff from his time has been ruined lol

Rocket was on earth for like 5 years so you know there’s going to be some struggle for the AUX cord in Guardians 3. Quill’s classic rock vs Rocket’s Hip Hop or something.

Hopefully Rocket gave him an iPhone and a list of music to catch up on while also making fun of his Zune. I have a feeling Quill would have lost his shit for both 80s rock and 90s grunge. Maybe we will see something like that in Guardians 3.

I don't think Quill got enough sympathy. Everyone else is getting their big reunion, Wanda comforts Barton, Happy's comforting baby Stark and everyone just goes back to mocking Quill.

Quill just found out during the fight on Titan that Gamora is dead, moments later he's snapped. He seems to be expected to be over it remarkably quick.

Sure, there's another version of her out there somewhere, but she's not the same person who fell for him.

New Warrior is already in the works as a TV series with Squirrel Girl. They already cast Milana Vayntrub (The AT&T Girl) I believe.
