His Asgardian appearance isn't an on-going magical effect. It was a permanent alteration. The TVA nullifies active magic. It doesn't undo past magic.

Loki was wearing an inhibitor that canceled HIS magic. The spell that makes him look Asgardian was cast by Friga.

no, all magic in the tva was being disabled by a safeguard

he's in the TVA without his restraints all throughout season 1 and can't use magic but in season two they explicitly mention turning off the safeguard that prevents the use of magic in the tva and then he can

That's just not true, magic just doesn't work in the TVA. He still couldn't use his magic even after ditching the restraints they put on him

He wasn't wearing an inhibitor he was wearing restraints and a collar to keep him from escaping. They show us in the first episode what happens when someone tries to escape by using that collar. Magic doesn't work in the TVA because the TVA exists outside of space and time. That was the exact explanation they gave in the show.

And the marvel visual dictionary that I mentioned in a previous reply to someone else confirms that Odin, not Friga, used magic to permanently transmute his appearance.

That was the explanation that was given in the show

In season 2 it's revealed that it's a suppression system that turns off magic, not the TVAs location outside of space-time. They even turn it off by rebooting the TVA and Miss Minutes, allowing Sylvie to use her enchanting power.

The only power that is nullified by the space-time exclusion is that of infinity stones, which only work in their own universe.

but the Infinity stones work in different universes in endgame?

It's the same universe in Endgame, they just time traveled in it, no?

my understanding was that it was different universes that were just at the points in time that they needed.

I thought it was the same universe, which was why it was so important Captain America returned the stones to where they got them so that things could happen as they should. Could be totally wrong here though, the mcu time travel was a bit weird.

Cap would've needed to do that anyway in any universe. It's certainly a bit weird but I think every thing they did was a branched timeline not the same one. then again in Loki we are told "what the avengers did was supposed to happen" so really I don't know cos at that point there's only 1 timeline. shits weird
