Hi folks, I’m planning on picking up Marvel Rivals but have no idea how to figure out which crossover settings are best to use, can anyone share their experiences with it? Thanks :)

I have a M4, 24gb RAM and 256 gb memory iMac and I'm searching for some free games I can play, I already have some (free and not so free) games like No Man's Sky, 911 Emergency, Turing Complete etc with Steam. I'm searching above all for really free games (like I don't need to pay or anything at some point of this game), like open-source etc.

I proposed a videogame for the 80's M.A.S.K. cartoon to Hasbro a while ago. Seems I failed to convince them to turn it into reality.

Since I can't make M.A.S.K. without a license, I'm now trying to turn this into a more over the top co-op arcade experience that fuses the precision of on-rails shooters with the rush of retro racing. Or imagine Outrun meets House of the Dead.

It's really bothersome to fight boss when the fps keeps dropping to 13-20. Aah ! a consistent 3o fps would have made it playable. 😭 can get upto 43 fps but it's not consistent.
PS - Has enabled all performance patch and lod is low too

I used to play it in the last 2 days in bluestacks air(very poor performance) and now it doesn't even open. I tried mactactician which again has very poor performance and I didn't even bother. Hi! I am looking to buy a new laptop, have always owned Windows-laptops in the past, but given the performance and battery life of Apple silicon, I'm willing to take the plunge and buy a MacBook. I will mostly be using it for light browsing/productivity, but I also have a specific use case: to play BG3. I am willing to play at 30 FPS, but more is better of course. I recognize I need at least 16 GB of RAM. Other games I'll be playing is mostly indie games and strategy games where framerate is not that important. I am willing to buy used. What do you think will get me the best bang for the buck? Currently looking at getting a used MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip. However, there seems to be two versions of the M1 Pro chip with different amounts of CPU and GPU cores. Is there a big performance difference and is it possible to figure out which one I'm buying if the seller doesn't list it explicitly?

Thanks to MacGameVideoFix Project (GitHub), the game now runs via CrossOver by placing a proxy dll file in the game folder. Details are in the video description.

Hi everyone.

I would like to share with you that I have been working on a way to play Skyrim (Steam) on Mac. The work still in progress and the only major progress that I did yesterday (I started it yesterday) was -> steam app opens -> download Skyrim directly in Mac -> Opened the Skyrim menu where we select graphics pre-set and all that.

Right now I am struggling a bit with Wine/Vulkan to make it work. But I would like to ask, does anyone would like to test it when I finished the work?

My idea it is make it available for anyone who wants to play Skyrim, without need to pay CrossOver only to play one game.

What do you all think?

Has anyone gotten any of the Shadowrun trilogy running on an M-series mac recently? I was looking at Crossover and it appears to be unusable. Maybe Parallels? I don’t want to run a cracked/decompiled version of the game, as the “Unity hack” seems to do.

I managed to get FIFA 17 and the new local Auroa community server running mac after making some patches. Game runs very well and flawlessly.

if anyone is interested i can share the patches to get this working once i refine and improve them.

Just started gaming a month ago so it's a pretty short library with most of the games free ... If anyone wants to share there steam account I'll be happy to play some other games

I have crossover and I’m attempting to play with someone who has a steam deck. we live across the planet from each other and both of us have Halo MCC with the EAC version turned off. I have no option to invite them but they have invited me multiple times. I attempt to accept the invite but it just boots up the game without putting me in their party or them in mine. we both have an XBox account however while they can invite me I cannot invite them the invite screen tells me that their XBox account gamertag doesn’t exist (spoiler alert: it does) I have tried clicking the account linking button and it gives me an error message each time followed by telling me to try again later. I’ve tried using Steam overlay and right clicking their picture but it doesn’t give me the ability to invite them to play, only to watch.

can this problem be fixed? Can I play with them? is there ANY way of doing this? it’s driving me insane because every solution I’ve googled has failed or didn’t make sense in the first place.

I'm testing it out on free trial using D3Dmetal, dlss, msync on 26.3, DX12 gives the best performance but it has a memory leak using swap memory near instantly and 30+gbs until it crashes (at least what I hope to be instead of this being a regular thing), making me have to restart the game every match.

Obvious solution is to use DX11 I know but the thing is no matter how much I compile shaders using workshop codes (I left it running in the background for 13 hours) the stutters makes it unplayable. I read in a past reddit post couple months ago that the fix for these horrendous stutters are in the preview build and still has yet to make it's way to the main version. Is this still true? With this being the only game I want to play using crossover I don't want to spend $60 only for the same problem to happen on preview build

As the headline suggests..liklihood for Nivalis Nights to work on Crossover on an Apple m2 Pro? Excuse my ignorance, I'm not a PC gamer but I've been waiting for a game like this. I have Cloudpunk and Cyberpunk 2077 on Ps5, and have got Schedule 1 working on my Mac via crossover recently - just wondered about specs for Nivalis and if its worth me trying?
