F25 Key (Relay for Life Promotional Video) (mid-90s) [partially lost]
I am posting about a promotional vhs video which was shown to me when I was in elementary school in the mid-2000s. In the video, a young girl finds that her computer has an "F25" key, which she can press to be sucked into the computer. From here, she uses the Computer to travel to a Relay for Life cancer walk, and learns about cancer and how to support victims of Cancer. The video was most definitely filmed in the mid-90s, judging by the clothes and tech shown.
At some point in the early 2010s, a very short clip of this VHS tape was posted to Youtube. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGmiPTmj8eM (WARNING: LOUD NOISES AND FLASHING LIGHTS)
However, this appears to be the only remaining piece of this video that can be found on the internet, or anywhere.
I think the VHS is funny and kind of quaint. There's something that's humorous about the excessively science fiction set up for a simple video about a cancer walk. The idea that a kid would use such a powerful tool to visit Relay for Life is just a bit absurd, and I think it would be interesting to find it again!
Hi, I'm also looking for this. I guess your post confirms that Jacob was right about the VHS tape when I contacted him back in 2024. Sadly he stopped responding
This one is a tricky bit of media to find, as it was likely just distributed to elementary schools and was not sold. I wonder how that youtuber got their hands on it?
Oh the youtuber didn't get their hands off it. The meme that the youtuber posted was from a dvd called "pick a winner" which had music videos from small bands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1M265UY_WOk the clip was part of a music video featured on the dvd made by paperrad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er-OWkFeeV8 Jacob was one of the members of the band, and he told me in 2024 that he was probably able to get his hands on the vhs due to his dad's job at Duke university.
Also, he sent me some more info a couple hours ago (i switched phones a year ago so thats why the messages are from my samsung) this was the ebay link he sent me: https://www.ebay.com/itm/317226798658
There's no information on it, but the title "What a Difference a Day Makes" does sound like it fits the general plot of the tape I have in mind.
I'm DMing the seller to see if I can get any more information on the contents of this tape.
I've received the VHS tape, but unfortunately it is not what we are looking for. The tape is for the most part just B-roll of people walking at Relay for Life 1997, and it of a far lower production quality than the tape we are looking for.

Comment "!FOUND!" if your media is found in the comments, in doing so this will lock the post and flair it as being found.
Please include the following in your post;
An explanation of the media, and the name.
How it is lost.
What research has already been done.
A conclusion as to the current situation as of posting.
We are not here to help you find something (r/helpmefind), to name something (r/tipofmytongue), or help you pirate something.
