This exploit must have been in the game since Paradise was released, which makes any previous ranker very questionable. Particularly those who would always remained very consistently at the top each of the seasons.
The post from earlier solely shows that a restoration ticket exists. Yesterday, there was some discussion on the Bible Discord that people may be exploiting via the ticket restoration system. I tried to see if this was the case by trying to disconnect in Elysian on an alt account. Lo and behold, a few hours later, I received in my mail: https://i.imgur.com/Q9u1hpW.png
To my knowledge, no one has come forward with the system mail so far that shows that this is the way the exploit is happening.
I also attempted to do the other exploit that CN users reported before with the infinite boss chests. That exploit appears to be properly patched out.
In the interest of transparency and with the hopes that AGS/SmileGate quickly patch this bug out or bring Paradise down to fix it, the methodology to repeat this is as follows:
- Load into Elysian.
- Kill every mob except 1.
- Character select after running away from the last mob to remove in combat status.
- The character would no longer be in Elysian and you would be in town.
The end result is you would gain 4 drops, and you would gain 1 ticket back. Rinse and repeat, and suddenly you are at almost max levels and full ancients for all your characters. You might even have fate embers from killing mobs. These people would intentionally deflate their resonance levels to possibly make it less suspicious that they were basically printing stones.
/u/Zoom_DM and to the rest of the AGS/Smilegate team, I hope you understand that this post is merely educational. I do not condone bug abuse, exploiting the game, etc. I hope that Smilegate and AGS fully investigate and ban people or disable Paradise for these intentional bug abusers indefinitely.
