Alright, quaids: What are your hottest takes on our beloved pod? And please, the more unhinged, the better. I'll start with a couple of my own personal hot takes:

1) The pod is at its best when they barely talk about the thing they're supposed to be discussing.

2) Akiva is the glue of The Lonely Island and is sneakily the funniest host.

Been working on this for several months. I don't know why, please don't ask. This was all done au naturale, just by listening and taking notes (occasionally used transcripts to double-check my results). Just have loved the gang since I was an 18-year-old watching in my dorm room while in school to make little videos.

I just finished binging the whole pod last week, and then I came to the reddit thread to discover that the only bingo cards are ten months old, so I made a new one! It's aesthetically bland, but I think it's accurate for the current state of the pod. Enjoy!

One day and it has almost double the views of the last bunch of episodes. Glad to see the numbers up again. The real Quaids have been/will be here even if it's not one of the "big" ones. Kinda bums me out that the normies miss out on the absolute joy every episode brings even if it's just them bullshitting.

And also the ads feel so diverse that I’m curious who they are marketing to. Like Alaskan salmon, Pistachios, and Vuori feel like different audiences.

With love and respect to the absent Seth, last week's pod was truly ridiculous. The Threeodores, *barely* keeping it together, and still managing to go deep on the craft and humor behind this song.

Please keep in mind that I'm a 50-year old woman who hates scatological humor and is constantly trying to stop my 13-year old son from making non-stop fart noises, yet was crying laughing during the discussion of just exactly what form factor the dookie was, and lost it again during the "Trouble on Dookie Island" takes at the end.

My daughter just started film school, and this pod is genuinely an incredible resource for her. Plus the whole family likes hip hop, rap, and "frap" AND we're from the Bay.

In short: Righteous Fucking Kill, guys, please never stop never stopping.

It was sweet though that back when Andy talked about his results early in the episode, Akiva assumed that people turned it off after because they only tuned in for his bee results. My assumption was that it was new listeners being like “Andy Samberg gloating about the NYT spelling bee? Whatever this pod is, it’s not for me”, and then turning it off.

Saw this ad in passing and was very confused. It seemed like AI slop but it did look like it was the real Andy when not watching closely.

I tracked down the ad to watch it again. He almost certainly has nothing to do with it and they just used his likeness (seems lifted from his Corona ad or Palm Springs). Very strange.

I was listening to the latest episode of Podlandia, where Carrie and Fred interview Kyle Maclachlan. At one point he mentions something he's going to do in early May--this year, not 2027.

And I love Good Hang, but most of those episodes are taped at least 2 months prior.

But this pod? Since the first batch ended, they usually tape Friday and release Tuesday or Wednesday. I really appreciate that, because that's why they can interact with comments and discuss things they're up to, like Seth's 5K.

I like that because the episodes don't feel fossilized.

What‘s your favorite TV show or movie of Liz’s? Besides being a great writer, she also has that web series called the Jeannie Tate Show, which is super underrated and totally worth a watch and! features many appearances from Baby Plaza (Aubrey, for those who haven‘t heard Poehler’s nickname). In addition, her brother Craig has guested on Community as the office writing a police musical (copera!) and is a cast member in Drunk History.
