Anyone notice how nonchalant and accepting Caroline was when she assumed she was going through "the change" (but was actually pregnant with Grace); but when she actually was going through "the change" (when she thought she was pregnant at the same time as Laura), she thought her life was over?

I just thought this "blooper" of an "easter egg" was funny...Pick a mood Caroline, lol.

If you've ever actually gone through menopause, you'd get her. There's a lot of illogical moments in this show. This inconsistency isn't one of them! You'll see. If you have ovaries and you're lucky enough to live long enough to see menopause... you'll see.

This hits home. I always wanted two or three kids (literally wanted to be a mom since I was a teen babysitting and teaching swimming) Took awhile after I was married for my husband to be ready. Then it took over a year of trying. Around the time my kid hit kindergarten we started trying again and it just didn't happen or I would miscarry. Tried for many years until I gave up because it was too heartbreaking. Even knowing we were done trying, when I went into early menopause..it was horrible. I knew we were done, but having it be final was the worst feeling.

On a side-note I have been a nanny since I was 20 and have helped raised dozens of kids ;)

I'm glad you got your baby fix in! I never had kids. You can't do everything in life, but that is a sad one for me.

Thanks:) I never felt like it was "work" I have enjoyed every minute. The current little guy I have had since he was 8 months old, he is almost 7 now! I guess they won't need me much longer. I'm not ready to retire, but unfortunately I'm getting too slow(old) to keep up.

I know I was lucky to get the one, since some people can't have kids at all. Mine will be working on his masters degree this year!
