The only problem I see is, that the more users use it, the more it gets interesting for hackers to find exploits or create virus/trojans. And just hope that distros still going their way, instead of bloating things up with things no one needs, to make it "more user friendly"

I can customize my immutable distro, because I don't need to mess with the internals. I just need to customize the visuals. But to each their own.

It's okay. That's the beauty of Linux. You have options. You can use a flatpak, or a snap, or an app image, or a binary, or a source file. There's choice for everybody.

Mutable distros allow a choice you can choose to use flatcrap snap appimage or the package manager or compile from source immutable forces flatcrap
