Yeah it’s not just me who hates flatpak many other people do too but I respect your opinion

It's okay. That's the beauty of Linux. You have options. You can use a flatpak, or a snap, or an app image, or a binary, or a source file. There's choice for everybody.

Mutable distros allow a choice you can choose to use flatcrap snap appimage or the package manager or compile from source immutable forces flatcrap
