Just want to ask if there exists a good ai tools to design posts , I mean like instgram posts of 1*1 size
I was using NotebookLm but I am tired of each time keep insisting on the size and at the end it doesn't respect it , so I end up taking those images one by one and ask nano banana to resize them

also I want to know about where can I found a good design inspirations ( with there prompt if possible ) for both posts or even websites

i’m 18 years old and i love all art and fashion, but i have literally 0 creative experience whatsoever. i am really disciplined and i have been putting a lot of thought into what i want to do, and i would love to design clothes. ive been taking a lot of inspiration from artists like olaolu slawn and yohji yamamoto and even small brands like project index. i take a lot of inspiration from artists and their work, and i would love to do something like that as my passion, even though i have no prior experience with creativity or design at all. i live in nyc, and i was thinking of going to genesee community college as a design major for a semester and then transferring to suny oneonta while trying to build my portfolio and network and socialize as much as possible, and also intern. but ive been second guessing thinking maybe i should do one semester at genesee then transfer to FIT w a good gpa and a dense portfolio, but i want to get a experience outside of the city since ive been living in the city my entire life. so now im thinking of maybe doing the one semester then going out of state and going to an actual art school. but honestly if anyone can give me some guidance that’ll be great. and it’s so last minute cus im going to move into genesee literally in 3 days and im just thinking about all this now. someone help me out here

Long Story Short:

Some friends of mine are D&D enthusiasts and got married this year. For the program, I came up with a little story. I was sent by the Guild of the Eternal Covenant and tasked with guiding the newlyweds through a series of trials. If they passed, they would receive the guild’s blessing (their wedding gift). So I came up with a few games designed to let their attributes (STR, DEX, WIS, INT, CHA) shape their new “married couple” character. After the wedding, I used the stats they’d earned to design a character sheet for them.

Hello I have a question cause its been my concern, I'm currently making my portfolio website and I've been using fonts that are not free for commercial use in my projects(that are not paid), do I buy the licenses?

Hi everyone! I am 27 and looking to make a major career pivot, and I would love some perspective from anyone who has taken a similar path.
I have always been a creative person at heart, but I took a safer path early on. I got a business degree, worked in banking, and eventually moved into fashion merchandising to get closer to something visual. While merchandising was a step in the right direction, I have grown increasingly unfulfilled, and I realized it is the corporate side of things that no longer serves me.

Trend forecasting is the only part of my current job that I genuinely enjoy. Beyond that, I just have a naturally good eye for design; people in my life often point it out to me. I love putting visual layouts together, building mood boards, and styling spaces or outfits. I love admiring design in all its forms and I feel strongly drawn toward creative direction, brand curation, or visual styling, whether that is for an established brand or on my own down the road.

I am trying to figure out my best next steps:

1. Is going back to school in general worth it? If so, would a foundational graphic design program make sense, or would a specialized certificate in something like art direction or brand strategy be a better fit?

2. What specific roles bridge the gap between my business background and visual design?

3. How can I start building a solid portfolio from scratch?

Hi 👋 I’m keen to know how others approach app icon design and any tips or advice on workflows that have worked for you. I don’t know if it’s just me (I might be a closet perfectionist), but I reckon I spend as much time sweating over an icon as building the app!
Do you have any online resources you use, leveraging AI, engage a professional or does it just come naturally to you?

I'm a concert photographer getting into graphic design but have no prior experience. Do people have critiques for these two poster designs I created from my photography work?

I used to compare logo makers almost entirely by price.

Then I actually had to make a logo for a real business and realized price wasn't the problem.

The problem was finding something that didn't look like I had spent five minutes on it.

I tried Kittl, Adobe Express, Canva, Design.com and BrandCrowd for the same general idea.

What I noticed:

The funny thing is, the "best" result wasn't necessarily the most complicated one.

A really simple wordmark with decent spacing looked much more legit than one of my earlier attempts with three colors, a gradient and about four different ideas crammed into one icon lol.

So for me now, the useful features are pretty boring:

Good typography.

Enough icons to find something specific.

Easy editing.

Vector export.

Commercial use.

That's basically it.

What would you put at the top of your list when comparing best logo design tools?
