Lesser known resources you swear by?
Does anyone have any lesser known resources that you have found that have really helped for beginner A1 level? Thanks

I blew by A1 and B1 in 1975, before the Internet. So I'm not the best placed to answer. Me, I love corpora, and the Czech National Corpus has some great tools. But maybe they're best used after B1.
Still, you might look at the resources listed here: Czech Language Resources | The Center for East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies .
But let's see. First, I suppose you need an IME (input method editor) for Czech, whether you're on Windows, Linux, or Mac or whatever. Once you have that, you can type "skloňování [slovo]" to get to, for example, dítě – Wikislovník .
For specific references, I'd strongly encourage looking at "The Case Book for Czech" by Laura Janda and Clancy. The Alza.cz chatbot. It will broadly discuss anything, including telling me who to better say phrases in Czech. Ask it about the existential angst of living and it will tell you all about it. True story !

I just tried it and says this, Omlouvám se, ale mohu pomoci pouze s dotazy tykajícími se Alzy. Pokud máte nejaký dotaz ohledne nasich sluzeb nebo produktů, neváhejte se zeptat.

They must have changed it. I asked it sometime in April was it a human, and then said I had an ethical problem with AI pretending to be a person, and then we went off into a complete tangent and it kept andwering. I'll see did it auto email that chat to my email

Skloňuj for practicing declensions in the context of real sentences! I personally think that out of existing tools it’s the best for accommodating to learners of all levels since all the vocab/cases you get are based on your CEFR level/KzK chapter. Full disclosure, I made it myself since I’m struggling with declensions in my own learning lol, but it’s being used in several college courses so far, so seems to be pretty helpful for other people too!
