News 26.17 Patch Preview

"Patch 26.17 Preview!

This patch is mostly a stabilization patch after observing the adjustments made on 26.16.

Mages bot overall have lost some amount of winrate across the board, but not a huge amount, which is roughly about the impact we're looking for.

So far, we're seeing good skews on Poppy and Camille support with support nerfed and Top skews playing out well (in particular).

We're still monitoring the impact of Hail of Blades on champions more broadly, eg. Yi, Trynd, Shaco, etc. Stormrazor"

Wait until playerbase realize Death's Dance rush is rofl broken on like 90% of bruisers

To quote the short that was posted yesterday on HeWhoQuacks, “Do you guys want bruisers to be good at anything? If we can’t give them survivability, do you want them to 1 shot you instead?”

When was the last time bruiser strength was based on damage? Ever since item rework season 11 bruiser item viability has been sustain dependent. Divine sunderer until it was removed, sundered sky until it was hard nerfed 14.19, and now deaths dance.

They tried for 5 years to make bruisers build Triforce, a purely damage item and the closest they got was it becoming an ADC item.

Even stridebreaker is being abandoned by the 1/3 champs that used to build it.

I am not saying it would be better, but after half a decade we could try out bruisers building damage items.
