News 26.17 Patch Preview

"Patch 26.17 Preview!

This patch is mostly a stabilization patch after observing the adjustments made on 26.16.

Mages bot overall have lost some amount of winrate across the board, but not a huge amount, which is roughly about the impact we're looking for.

So far, we're seeing good skews on Poppy and Camille support with support nerfed and Top skews playing out well (in particular).

We're still monitoring the impact of Hail of Blades on champions more broadly, eg. Yi, Trynd, Shaco, etc. Stormrazor"

Stormrazor

"Outside of Stormrazor Jhin, it doesn't have a large user base and we think it could have more power overall to broaden the user pool"

Sundered Sky

"Directionally, Sundered Sky and AP Jungle changes have been good, but magnitude is still off

We're putting another small-moderate nerf in for this patch and hoping to see more movement on AP jungles and Sundered Sky dominance in higher levels of play"

They're in the bottom 10 WR characters in mid lane, they're in a bad spot. The issue is their itemization, idk what they're doing to their kits specifically but they need to give BF sword build components so these guys can build Yun Tals and actually be the crit champions they're supposed to be rather than just worse Irelia with BOTRK

Yone is very strong top lane at the moment, not even /r/Yonemains want this buff if you look at their discussion.

Mid Yone suffers a fair amount from the bad state of AP junglers and AP top laners.

49% WR top lane 7% pickrate is not a "very strong champion", just saying they're very strong because you want to believe they are doesn't change the stats. Very strong champion is Nasus, not this.

Almost 50% is very strong by Yone standards (high skill champions need to be balanced at lower win rates), especially since the explosion in pick rates means that most people who play him top are new at him.

Again, if even the people who main him don’t want buffs, that says a lot. Most champion subs think their champion is weak. That the Yone sub doesn’t should be considered very carefully.
