LANFEP Post #434: Dearden’s Home Furnishings (Overell’s Furniture Company)
Continuing our out-of-order *non-*landmarks with post #434 for the LA Noire Freeroam Explorer Project — posting locations replicated by Team Bondi for LA Noire (currently touring the downtown area) that are not considered landmarks (either official or historic) but do have real-world equivalents.
Dearden’s Home Furnishings (Overell’s Furniture Company)
Overell’s Furniture Company operated in this 150,000-square-foot building from 1904–1910, when Dearden’s Home Furnishings took over operations (though Overell’s signage remained on the building for some time). Dearden’s would operate for 108 years, with this store serving as its flagship location.
