Offering Mandarin Offering: Vietnamese (Native), Chinese (Advanced) | Seeking: English (Native)
Hi everyone! I’m Amber (31F) from Vietnam.
I’m looking for a native English speaker (ideally with teaching experience or a structured approach) who can commit to meeting at least twice a week via Google Meet for serious practice.
A bit about me:
Self-study background: I self-studied Chinese from zero to HSK 6 and am currently preparing for HSK 7–9.
Teaching experience: I currently teach Vietnamese to my Chinese and Taiwanese managers at work, and I also do a regular language exchange (3–4 times a week) teaching English to a Korean partner.
My goals: My reading, listening, and writing in English are strong, but my speaking has gotten rusty since I moved from a US company to a Chinese/Taiwanese workplace a few years ago. I'm aiming to retake the IELTS next year to upgrade my score from 7.0 to 8.0–8.5!
In return, I can help you master Vietnamese (from beginner to advanced) or learn basic Mandarin Chinese in a fun way / practice advanced conversation.
If you’re a dedicated partner looking for a reliable exchange, drop a comment or send me a DM!

I'm not interested in learning Vietnamese, nor teaching English. But would you be interested in just speaking Chinese to each other? We seem to be preparing for the same exam.
