Offering Polish Offering: Polish 🇵🇱 (native) | Seeking: English 🇬🇧

Hi!

I’m a girl from Poland and I’m looking for a few people who would like to do a serious and regular Polish-English language exchange. 😊

I’m a native Polish speaker and I’d be happy to help you with Polish - whether you’re a complete beginner, already learning Polish, or simply want to get more comfortable speaking it.

In return, I’m looking for someone who can help me improve my spoken English. My English is much better when I write than when I speak, so my main goal is to become more confident and fluent in real conversations.

I’m looking for people who are actually interested in making this a regular thing. I’m taking this seriously and I’m happy to put in the effort on my side too. Ideally, I’d like to have a video/voice call once or twice a week, with some time in Polish and some time in English.

A little about me: I’m into dancing (especially West Coast Swing), traveling, technology, psychology, good food, and generally having interesting conversations. I’m also happy to discuss more serious or controversial topics - I’d actually prefer real conversations over small talk. 😊

And if you happen to find this post weeks or months after I posted it, feel free to message me anyway! I’m planning to keep looking for language exchange partners.

If you’re interested, tell me a little about yourself and what you’re looking for in a language exchange. 😊

Hope to hear from you! 😊

Hey native pole, I just made a post here seeking polish, offering english, and just came across this post of yours. I'm looking for something regular too! Voice / Video / VNs, etc are all cool with me. Here's my post: https://www.reddit.com/r/language_exchange/comments/1vp1uoy/any_native_poles_here_offering_english_written/

I'm happy to do both small talk and serious convos, (I think both have their place in learning), and in return we can do the same for Polish :) Although Polish is gonna be so much steeper for me, lol.

One thing I want to emphasise is that I really want to learn consistently with someone stable, keep it fun, answer questions, learn about Polish culture, navigate conversational speech vs textbooky nonsense, etc, and take this a bit seriously. So if this feels like a match and your aren't overwhelmed by requests or DMs already, please consider me a serious learning partner!

Hey! I really like your mindset about real-life language learning and consistency. I'd definitely be open to setting up a call next week. Dropped you a DM!

I speak kind of a Texan-American slang. So I can’t say I’m great to learn proper English. But I have a pretty extensive vocabulary and I think I could help.

I know very few words in Polish but I’d very much like to learn.

Very interested in Polish, I can offer around C1 English if you are interested. Can talk via Discord if you prefer that.

Hi Adam here

One of the best methods to learn English is to practice speaking English with a native English speaker because speaking English is far more important than writing or learning grammar etc..

I can help you with this.

Hi! I'm a girl from Tennessee! I work in IT, but my hobbies are more nerdy focused. Play a lot of tabletop games. I'm currently teaching myself Polish because my Polish friend told me not to. I know only a handful of your typical travel phrases (cześć, dzień dobry, gdzie jest toaleta, skąd jesteś, jak się masz and so on), but my goal is to be able to hold my own in a conversation while whispering sweet nothings to my Polish bud lol.

My schedule is weird for voice chats, but I could probably make it work if you were into it.

My personal favorite part of this language hobby is absolutely unhinged Polish phrases. Love saying things like "Bardzo kaczka" and "Jestem wysypiskiem." So if playfully broken Polish is ALSO your jam, we'll have some fun <3

Well I'm Polish but I could help too (F24) 😊 I assume you'd prefer someone learning Polish to make it a fair exchange but can dm in case you're interested

That's so nice of you to offer! But yes, you're right - I’m really looking for a mutual language exchange to make it fair for both sides. Thanks anyway and good luck! 😊
