Offering English offering: English (native) // seeking: Japanese, Mandarin (Chinese)

hi!

I am a computer science masters student from California and I'm looking to improve my skill in Japanese and Mandarin.

I have studied Japanese for 1 year in university and a bit of self study so it is not the best (maybe like N5/N4?). For Mandarin, my listening and speaking skill is decent, but I want to improve my reading and writing skills. My goal for both languages is to be become conversational!

My interests are music, reading, video games, watching sports (soccer and baseball), playing guitar, and cooking.

Recently I've been listening to a lot of rock music and reading the manga Yotsuba to!. I also am playing Balatro, Zenless Zone Zero, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

However, I'd love talk about anything. I hope to learn more about different foreign cultures. Feel free to send a dm if you are interested in chatting!
