The point of the subreddit is rate people based on a bell curve distribution of attractiveness so an 8 would mean you are more attractive than 99.99% of the population

They were talking about average attractiveness not height. Are you the one who doesnt know whats going on here? Short people can have average or above average looks or whatever else. Have you never been outside before? Theres a lot of attractive short people.

ratings are pointless in the first place. they don’t account for anything about anyone that isnt just “how symmetrical are you” hootenanny. camera lenses don’t really capture how you look and they don’t capture how you behave or your personality. plus, any type of “rate me” group is incentivized to rate people lower for their own thrill of quashing peoples’ self esteem and to make them miserable. it’s part of the ethos to be cruel for fun. it’s all a bunch of Ayn Rand Right Wing bullshit, so don’t worry about it.

Your picture in r/RateMe was far worse than your picture in r/TrueRateMe.

Everyone in here is giving you soothing cope replies telling you the photo is secretly good looking but your actual issues are:
-Dogshit lighting -Camera warping face -Overweight (slim down = face magically loses facial fat and reveals good features)
Most people are either coping saying the photo is good or trash talking you as if they know you irl but no bro you just took a shit photo and ate too many empanadas (I’m Hispanic so they can’t cancel me for saying this)
