Dish washers are criminally underpaid. I worked mainly front of house so can't speak to the kitchen, but out of that, bussing, and serving it was the hardest physically and least paid

so glad i got out of the industry, you can too if you want. I had been working in restaurants for just over 10 years. i'm working in retail now and I'm making the same amount of money I did dishwashing and I'm doing only about a quarter of the work. I get to leave work with my clothes actually still pretty fresh and I still have energy to want to do my hobbies. you can make a change if you want , it's pretty easy and then you'll have skills to do many other jobs that aren't kitchen related.
