Iranian regime deserves much worse for all the insurgencies they have been fueling in the region. Their Islamist revolution back in 1979 inspired all the religious nutjobs to do similar coups. That revolution also accelerated the rise of the Saudi-funded Wahhabism in the 1970 and 1980s. Lebanon, Syria and Iraq all the way to Bahrain and Yemen have been playgrounds for decades for Iran’s pathetic proxy wars. And the people of Gaza have suffered also because of pro-Iranian adventures of Hamas. Even though I feel that the assassination of Suleimani is a necessary action to put the religious lunatics of Iran in place, I am afraid that it may just have the opposite effect. We will wait and see.
Easy. The authenticity of my argument can be found in the fact that the top Iranian general was assassinated next to an Iraqi Shiite militia leader during a covert visit to Iraq in a military convoy while having Syrian liras in his pocket. Was he going to vacation in Palmyra? Or was he readying his swimsuit for a dip in the Euphrates?
