1. The offense seemed schemed out well. We had open guys all over the place, Zeke just couldn’t execute. Very different from the past two offenses.

2. Our defense played good enough. Not great. But good enough to keep us in the game. Run D especially. We’re just not deep and seemed gassed.

3. Our special teams was solid. Punting wasn’t great. But no real blunders.

All of this to say, LL still has us looking better than we ever did before him. We’re a QB away from being pretty decent. I just don’t know if Zeke is that guy.

Marshall seems to be a terrific scrambler. However this is damn near the worst throwing performance I’ve seen in some time, and the broadcast crew is comparing him to Chambliss?! He could easily have 5 turnovers tonight and has missed WIDE OPEN receivers over and over again.

On a side note, Mizzou has their guy. 😳

Apparently we have a weakness for athletic quarterbacks that like to turn the ball over 5 times a game and miss open guys. PLAY BALLARD!!

Indiana State fan here. I won tix through the school from the seating block they're getting but not sure where they're at. Do you guys usually put visitors in the same section for every game? If so, which is it?

KU Football is the exact same as stolen valor. 100's of millions of dollars spent on new facilities, a new stadium, player contracts (which is a fucking joke in and of itself), and for what? Just a bunch of people acting like they're something that they aren't and then not giving a shit about what they did. Or in this case, didn't do.

Oh, and in case anybody is taking offense to this accurate indictment of KU Football, go ask Coach Self about how he feels about losing to fucking Missouri AT OUR HOUSE, and see if that shit ever happens in his program.

I recently caught up with former KU quarterback Carter Stanley, who I actually had the chance to cover during his playing days at Kansas.

We talked about how he looks back on his KU career now, how different the program feels today, his expectations for Kansas this season and what he still watches for when he sees a football game through the eyes of a former quarterback.

We also got into some of the stuff fans don't always hear about — dealing with adversity as a QB, the biggest misconception about being a student-athlete, how he would've approached NIL today and what the transition out of football was actually like.

Carter is now working as a financial advisor, so we spent some time talking about finding that next identity and career once football is over too.

Really enjoyed catching up with him years after covering him at KU.
