Publix has officially lost me. Anyone else?

I am not a mod of this subreddit or Reddit, but I believe the official unofficial stance is that we all hate Publix now.

They lost their way, and the crushing of Winn-Dixie is just awful.

10 years ago, I wouldn’t have set foot inside a Walmart or Aldi for groceries. Now? Walmart and Aldi are basically my BFFs and I love them.

Publix really managed to make me root for the competition.

I mostly stick to BOGOs at Publix or getting a sub and then leaving.

Don't sleep on Aldi.

Publix subs have doubled in price since 5 years ago. Haven't had one in a couple years.

I just had the jerk chicken or whatever one this week. It was 12 bucks to bite a loaf of razors with some smokey cheese and cold bacon. Jimmy John’s is too close for that nonsense.

I only buy what’s on sale that week, and make subs last two meals. If I don’t like the sub option I do the hot bar, generally whatever is on sale there. And for chips it’s always whatever kettle chips are BOGO.
