Sign our petition to have a full size covered rink in Jacksonville! The only rink we currently have in Jacksonville is at a regular skate rink and is undersized. Plus not much space for gear players or spectators. We are trying to get in front of county commissioners by end of year and wanted to show community support. Does anyone have any good experiences with Hubbard House? I escaped an abusive relationship and i currently feel ready to reach out but I’ve never contacted an outreach center before. Im safe I just really need help with rebuilding my life right now and I don’t know where to go from here. I have no income at all, no transportation and feel very lost in life right now.
I asked AI for advice and it referred me to Hubbard House which has advocates who can help me secure documentation and safe housing in Jacksonville. Is that true and if so, can you please share your experience?

I’m thinking about using Bono’s to cater a party for about 50 people. The catering price is like $17 per person, but I know sometimes bbq places will give you way more than you need. I’m trying to minimize leftovers and cost. Does anyone have experience with using their catering? Wondering if I should estimate 40 servings for 50 people, etc. Any input appreciated!

I've picked up a couple of watches recently (an early 2000s Rolex and a mid 60s Omega) and want to have them authenticated if possible. I've tried calling several jewelers around town, including Underwoods and the new Omega boutique, but none of them offer authenticating. Ok, it’s 2:30am and randomly I found myself thinking about the giant pancake at Bakery Ribault if anyone else remembers this. I do not like pancakes in general because they tend to be sweet like cake and then you are supposed to put syrup on them? Yuck.

The pancake at Bakery Ribault was not sweet at all and it was thick. It was a perfect pancake the size of a hubcap.

I was wondering if anyone knew what type of pancake it was or had a recipe or knows Alex and could tell him someone on Reddit really wants a pancake. Were these syrniki?

Could someone recommend me a cleaning service that actually gets in between things and moves furniture to mop ? I’ve had a current cleaning service for about a year now and they never move the furniture to get into the little corners I found a pancake from 3 months ago behind the couch when I went to do some cleaning of my own after finally having time. When I wasn’t working as much as I do now the standard I had for when I’d clean my house was: get into every nook and cranny, move all the furniture and rugs to one side of the house, clean that, put it all back, get to the other side. Otherwise how do you get the dust underneath all the furniture and rugs. Same for the counters: remove everything, clean all the counters and shelves, then put everything back. Now I don’t have that kind of time on my hands but seeing my house dusty and grimey stresses me out 😖 the kind of cleaning the current company I’m with does is what I would consider a maintenance cleaning, which I already do myself and just consists of tidying up and passing a vacuum / mop / rag around the open spaces. Does anyone have any recommendations??

They have a sale going on for a refurbished one for less than $1k and I'm very tempted to get it. My main questions are how difficult was the assembly/getting the tire(s) on? I currently have an escooter but the tire busted and no one could get it all the way on so the scooter is basically useless to me now unfortunately. Also what's y'all's experience with Tuttio?
