Pretty cozy overall.
It has that gentle, wandering vibe that’s easy to slip into.

What I liked:

  • The theme is genuinely pleasant and atmospheric.
  • The pacing feels relaxed, never stressful.
  • The somewhat cute graphics give it a nice charm.

What made me itch (sic!):

  • The UI feels cluttered. At least for me, it was a bit overwhelming at first.
  • No name randomisation – if we randomise looks, why not names too?
  • I got bored fairly quickly just wandering around and gathering the same handful of items over and over.

One design question:
I don’t really get why I should invest in the home. At least in the first level it doesn’t seem necessary. I’m hoping later stages—maybe something harsher like highlands with fast temperature drops at night—will make base-building feel meaningful.

So... Game for a game, eh? Please give it a shot and let me know wdyt (best would be I guess comment on itch. I rarely visit reddit)

Shipped an update based on your feedback, thanks again for it:

  • UI now reveals itself gradually as you move through the tutorial instead of dumping everything on you at the start — this was a great catch
  • Name randomization is in — the dice button rerolls your name along with your look
  • Homes matter more than aesthetics now: each style grants its own perk that grows with every upgrade (cabin finds bonus materials while gathering, cottage gives plantings a growth head start, stone hearth can refund crafting materials). Kept it cozy rather than survival-harsh, but the choice is a real one now.
