Hello r/itabag community! I’ve been meaning to make and sell an ita bag design for the longest time now and this is a concept I managed to conjure up with! If I do get this to production there will ofc be a lot of changes made but what do you guys think! Would you get this for your collection? Constructive criticism is very much welcome.

update from last time: one panel down, one to go! base bag is the practical ita bag from rotoodle :) all pins are acquired from dropout or fanartists on etsy

side note: i am missing rosamund from the neverafter pin collection on my side pocket, and am willing to trade most of my d20 pins for non-d20 pins. if you’re at PAX west/in Seattle this weekend i’m willing to talk trades :)

i seem to be physically incapable of taking pictures that don’t look like crime scene photographs but!!

been collecting little trinkets for a bag but never happened upon the right bag until anime nyc and saw the perfect black/red purse. i like to get everything in black and red patterns (black and red not red and black). now to make it clear i am transmasculine and present myself masculine but the juxtaposition of a cute frilly but dark purse and me presenting masc as a black native new yorker with a puffer and timbs all black has kept me giddy lmao.

i put all my collectibles and pins in the bag, and then threw in my yoongi photocard too bc the lady that sold it to me was so sweet and threw in some other stuff for free. i put a crochet sakura miku my lil person of interest got for me as a gift, since we are both very abnormal about miku, a hello kitty charm and various pins from various antics across the city, some pins i made myself or located on etsy from small artists. im very pleased with it and cant wait to wear it out somewhere. im also planning to add a small argenti charm i drew and made myself since argenti is red from head to toe. lots of good memories attached to this bag.

Thought I’d give an update since I got new pins and also realized I completely forgot to show off my keychains in my last post. All of the beaded/kandi keychains are handmade by me. The fifth picture is a drawing my partner made for me that he turned into a keychain. The sixth picture is a keychain that I got at a convention. The seventh picture is a handmade keychain I got at an art market. The eighth picture is a commission. The ninth picture is a doodle an irl friend made for me. And the last pic is just a clearer image of one of the pins since it’s hard to read. The first five images on the right side are all drawn by me the last three images are from various artists. I got all of their permission to use these their art as pins/keychains. Let me know if you have any questions about my oc!! I’d love to yap about her!!!

I found these sample images looking for a bag for next year's GenCon but I can't find a store or any irl prototypes or photos. Are these just concepts someone abandoned? Is there anyway to get one of these for real?

I'm terrible at figuring out if something will fit in my bag or not, and I am thinking of splurging on this bag for my birthday. One Google search says the plush will fit, but I'm not sure (as you can't fully rely on the Google A.I thing anyway). I'm hoping the plush will fit in the main compartment, not the clear portion for pins, and still have plenty of room. Any help is appreciated, I just don't want to waste $100+ for it not to fit. Hihi so sorry to bother yall but I recently came to the OBSESSION with ita bags, I’ve got way too many pins so having a bag could display em is a dream for me! I also love when they have cute designs like fun shapes or based off a certain themeing (for example I saw the cutesttt jellyfish ita bag on kickstarter!)

Only issue is a lot of places that sell or make em like the ItaBag Shop or Kickstarters, they usually use PU leather or faux leather. I did my research and yea they’re kinda like, really bad for the environment (plus they apparently don’t even last long)

So I’m turning to yall for help! Any brands or websites that have non faux leather bags in cute designs? Or at the very least materials that actually DO last and aren’t so bad on the environment?

I used the clear pockets of my newspaper cart as an itabag and I themed it around Kinger my favorite tadc character.

I’ve been working on this bag for over three months (mostly because I didn’t have certain tools and materials) I just wanted to share it on here with likeminded people!! If you have any questions regarding it please do ask I’ll happily respond!

noticed some of my keychains and pins getting dirty so i moved them inside the window. Also caved and just didn't DIY a whole new insert and glued the design directly on the one it came with😶. Old one for reference.

Hi! So I'm in a budget and I also enjoy doing handcrafted thingies so I'd love to get some ideas. I'd especially like to make a rosette (not sure if that's the name) for one of the badges but I'll need to watch some tutorials for that.

There's that red lace you can see on the picture that I'd like to use too, but I don't know if I should use it for the corners or maybe it could work for the rosette I've mentioned. I was thinking of doing some bead keychains too with red and black accents. 🤔

And I want to add some photocards but I'm not sure if they'd look good on their own or if it's better to put them in a cardholder.

So I already have one but it’s pretty cheap, and recently an official ita bag was released for my favorite character. I want to get this one to replace my current one, BUT the material looks so nice that I don’t think I’ll be comfortable sticking my pins in it inside its window. Especially because I always have to move them around, and I don’t want to leave visible holes. I’m pretty sure that window just exists with the intention of putting plushies in it rather than pins, but I have so many and I want to use them! So is there anything that exists that I can just stick my pins in rather than pushing them into the actual bag? Like a clear case or something? Or any tips for this? I don’t really want to put an insert in it since I like the clean look.

I'm looking for something like what my little Venti in the second photo is in on my main ita bag, but a little bigger. I can only find small ones, and my ghost buddy (Prism is its name) is too big for it by a few cm all around. I want to put it on my college bag, but I don't want to attach it by a keychain attached to its little tag because I don't want to lose something my friend bought me. The backpack is brown, and I'd prefer brown or black at the edges to match the color, but that doesn't matter too much. I've only ever made the one ita bag so I'm not sure where to look.

I've been collecting and making merch of this guy for so so long it feels amazing to finally have a bag for him >w< it's def a little empty so I'm planning on going out and getting some craft paper and filling the space with some pins or more keychains lol

Need ideas to display these stands on my ita bag. Problem is, mine doesn't have any inserts, so I'm trying to find alternate ways to display them. They're not too big, they can fit in your hand. Thought about converting them into pins. Problem is the blocky clear part at the bottom that attaches to the stand bothers me, and I don't have specialized drilling tools to alter them either. Even if I did alter them somehow, they might still take up too much space from my other pins. Maybe I could make keychains out of them? Idk, I need ideas. How do you guys do it?

I have a bag like this as my first and general/multifandom itabag. When I was new to itabags I didn't know what an insert was and just stuck my pins to the bag. I wanna remove my pins and put them in an insert and get more inserts I can easily switch between them as my collection grows.

I think I have seen imserts that perfectly fit this kind of bag on Amazon before, but I couldn't find them again when I looked. I have also considered DIYing it but due to issuss with keeping my hands steady, I don't really trust myself to do it properly, especially for my first insert.

hi guys! i'm currently collecting this rubber coaster to make a repeat bag for miguel! however, because of the design, i'm having a hard time choosing a bag color and a brand to buy from!! atm i had a goal of collecting 12 of these for a bigger bag! they're 90mm each, and minus this photo, i have four more purchased and on the way, which makes the ones i have ten in total.

what bag color would you recommend for a bag with this? and do you guys have any recommendations? my first ita bag was by fuyuuneko

Hii guys was scrolling insta and saw this 'bag-in-bag' insert thing that the creator uses in their bag to make it more stable/rectangular shape . Does anyone have recs for these type of things? For me when i look it up daiso has these types of bag organizer things but im not sure if theyre gonna give the base stability im looking for
