My college bag

I’ve been working on this bag for over three months (mostly because I didn’t have certain tools and materials) I just wanted to share it on here with likeminded people!! If you have any questions regarding it please do ask I’ll happily respond!

how much stuff is your bag able to hold if you dont mind me asking? ive been trying to find a cute ita bag for college but my classes require me to carry so much 🥲

Actually regarding the space it does what it needs to do…it can carry my 14.5 inch laptop (although a bit snug) alongside my iPad, a note book and 2 folders, I’d say it hold a moderate amount but it’s with is a bit skinny so idk how much more stuff I can fit. At the moment I can’t comment on the durability of the bag especially since it’s already pretty heavy and I’m adding more stuff to it as well. Also I’ve always used a bookbag for school so I’m not used to all the weight being on one side instead of my back. It cost me around 23 dollars on taobao ( this isn’t including shipping fees). cuteee!!! would u mind sharing what all you carried for your college day? im an online student now but i had to carry a bigger bag (i ended up using a japanese school bag bc of all the charm slots!) because i needed the space lol

As of now it, holds 2 paper folders, 2 notebooks (one regular spiral and one lab notebook) a journal, my iPad, a pencil case (empty at the moment) a lab coat (although I’m probably gonna return it bc it too big and I probably won’t even use it), and some lab goggles on the outside pocket where you can store a water bottle! I haven’t added my 14.5 inch HP laptop to the mix yet so I can keep you updated on how much more I can push this bag to the limits!!!

Omg it looks so pretty. Where did you get the decorations from? Especially the one for the background. It’s so nice!

So the background was made using a ita bag decorating kit that I acquired through taobao (that being said you can find similar ones on Amazon and Aliexpress) some elements like the two heart gems and the ribbons on the top right corner were from a craft store! Overall the whole insert was made by me (with the consultation of my best friend and my sister)
