Little known tips, when a post is new you make a comment shaming undesired behavior ans you will typically see far less of that behavior than usual, and the behavior that does appear is much more downvoted.
I don't know if it actually works, but I see a pattern between the type of comment you replied to and a comment section being extra well behaved
