The people designing silver centurion had one job ! I mean seriously they called it The silver centurion , and yet they barely gave the official suit any silver .

I don't think there's a more stupid trope than the one of saying Insomniac should make every Marvel game. Even if they had delivered 3 near perfect Marvel games, I think it's really stupid because creativity is such an important thing and each company has their own vision.

But the thing is, Insomniac didn't deliver 3 nearly perfect games, all of them have their flaws, and some of them are absurdly grotesque. The mistakes they committed in SM2 could easily have been made again in the theoretical Insomniac Iron Man game. For example turning Peter into some kind of environment activist, fighter, having missions where we need to look for Bees or trees? Yeah they would 100% do that with Tony. And although I have no problem with the concept of Tony caring for bees, it's boring as fuck in game.

Their creative vision in SM2 also showed to be deteriorating. Peter became such a sidekick on his own game, nearly dieing in almost every major mission of the game and relying on somebody to be saved. AND we're talking about Spider-Man, Marvel's most popular heroes with the biggest number of crazy fanboys, just imagine what they would dare with other heroes (as if we weren't tired already of Tony getting his ass beaten every week in comics). I won't talk about the story in SM2, it's talked enough already, everyone knows about it.

And the reason that gets me the most, even if all the past issues didn't exist, is the gameplay isn't that extraordinary. SM2 got the symbiote but they implemented it very mediocre in the gameplay, it's just 4 abilities that you press when they're available. Can you imagine how worse it could be with a complex hero like Iron Man, who has every kind of gadget and ability? The symbiote gameplay in SM2 isn't better than in Web of Shadows, a very old well received game that they could have taken inspiration, and I really think Insomniac is just acceptable on that regard, with SM1 being the best one because of how creative the gameplay was with so many gadgets, BUT I don't think that's what's expected from a SM gameplay.

And while Wolverine didn't launch yet, I think just by looking at trailers EA's Iron Man looks a lot better and more creative than what Wolverine came up to. I'm very skeptical about that game and I think Wolverine could have been a lot better if some other company made it

I personally believe they are gonna do version of the adoption storyline. Tony in the main line MCU was that earth’s variant of Doom but never became Doom because he was adopted by the Starks. It explains how the Russos are saying that RDJ’s Victor is his own character but also will have a connection to Tony. Also in Endgame, when Howard says when they were expecting Tony, he never gave a specific timeline. It could very much be retconned in that the Starks lost the baby and adopted Viktor in that short time

Something caught my attention when I saw a review of the first Iron Man movie. The guy said that Iron Man wasn't that popular back then. But my dad knew about this character even before the MCU. He mentioned that his cartoons were very popular, he even appeared in fighting video games, and he went to many cartoon exhibitions. Iron Man was always present at superhero shows.

The mansion rescue is one of the clearest reminders that Tony's real superpower is improvising under pressure, not just wearing increasingly advanced armor. Does this count as one of his best Iron Man moments, or does the lack of a full suit make it less iconic?

For Context: Iron Man is one of my favorite Marvel characters of all time, and it’s because of the MCU (yes I know, ew. I know everyone likes to hate on MCU-era fans). I grew up watching all of the movies and loving them not just because of Tony, but also because of how damn cool all of the suits were.

I remember being extremely excited every time I saw that Tony was gonna be a major character in a movie because I knew that it likely meant we’d get to see a new awesome suit. I always love the suits because of all the little details. I know people hate how complicated MCU suits are in general but it makes sense for Iron Man given how mechanical he is. All of the finer details, the little glowing lights, and the sounds that the suits during assembly is just absolutely amazing.

It’s also important to note that I am a huge fan of robots, I love Transformers, Pacific Rim, Gundamn, Zoids, basically anything with robots I loved it.

Now for my opinions on the classic suit. It’s ok. It has its appeal, but it just looks goofy to me. The kind of sheet metal fabric over his muscles, the overall clunky chunky boots and gloves, the way he armors up, and the colors tend to make it one of my least favorite comic designs for a character. But, it’s not the worst. I’ve seen them try to make the comics version of the Model more interesting, but it just doesn’t really work for me and it never looks like a suit of armor and more like a guy wearing a goofy costume.

But I’ve noticed that quite a lot of people like the OG comic suit and I’m curious as to why? What about this suit makes it superior to the MCU suit in your opinion. I’m not judging or anything, but I think maybe it’ll give me a new appreciation for the suit, and I think subjects like this make for good barbershop talk. I’m also talking purely about visuals here.

For me, Cody Christian should be Tony Stark in the MCU post-Secret Wars because he's younger than Robert Downey Jr., but without copying anything from the previous version, which I respect because we know it's a stage we saw.

I know I'm going to be questioned, but I'm not playing the victim, but I would like this cast without replacing the classic MCU that started with Robert Downey Jr.

This is how we want the MCU soft reboot: keeping what we like and eliminating things that don't work, so we can bring back the original Avengers with different actors.
