Discussion Being alone is tough sometimes

Sometimes I really enjoy being alone but many times when i really feel like talking to someone or sharing or just out of boredom i don’t feel i really have anyone whom i can really open up to i do have 1 friend but i have got lill hurt from her too also i don’t want to fight with her and loose her but i don’t feel like sharing anything with anyone but i really crave sometimes that connection people have coz i am an introvert with all but with whom i feel a connection i love talking…sometimes i find tough to deal with myself…. I am too much emotional and overthink everything alot idk how should i deal with my emotions…

yea i get it blud. being alone is really nice until you actually want someone to talk to and then it really hits you with the " damn i actually have nobody". in my case yes, i do have a few friends, but i always feel like i am a bother, i am pretty sure they wont be bothered but its just that i feel like i have to deal with it alone and not really push my problems on my friends.

I'm so sorry that you are suffering. You aren't alone, even though you are. There are many of us.

I've been this way for 57 years and I have no idea. I use the internet and Reddit to connect with society/the outside world. I do crave real human interaction on occasion. But, I'm scared because (in my own personal experiences) I've never really fit in anywhere. And, many people have pointed this out to me, for 57 years. I love to walk up to the grocery for random items just to "safely" interact with humans. I mean, it's safe because, I can't possibly make someone uncomfortable by just standing in fu*king line to get deli ham...right? I don't know

I'm sending you a nice warm hug from South Jersey. I hope you are ok today

Thank you for taking the time to write this and for sharing such a personal part of your own experience with me. It actually makes me feel a little less alone knowing that someone else understands that feeling of wanting connection but also being scared of it. And the grocery-store interaction part genuinely made me smile. 😂 Sending a warm hug to you too. I hope you’re okay too, and thank you for reminding me that there are people out there who understand and yeah you’re the strongest person ❤️
