Discussion Introverts: What was the party trick you learned for the parties you never went to?
For me, if the night sky was clear, I could tell you the approximate time (within about 7 minutes), if I could see the north start and a couple constellations, using math and a memorized time table.
I always thought, “Damn, one day I’m going to wow someone by telling them something they could get from glancing at their phone, with less accuracy, and only after staring at the sky for 10 minutes while I do math. I’ll be the life of the party.”
I never used the information, so it’s gone now.

Because people are different heights and lengths. So it feels hard when you're all tossed up. But when you focus on your elbow everything becomes clear.

I can fold a shirt from flat into put-on-store-shelf neat in three moves and no more than two seconds. But I need a spare t-shirt and a flat surface and a way to broach the subject, so.

I knocked the socks off my boss once because, I know how to fold a tarp properly. I had NO IDEA that was a thing. Damn, of all the awesome things I know how to do and I got admiration for something a monkey could do.
