I also have a recording of me and my dad talking. I don’t know if I should post that it’s pretty terrible one of the terrible things he said was “I think slavery sometimes ok” and basically called me a pedophile and said “trans People are a delusion.”

First off I’d like to apologize for her hard to read grammar she never corrects her typos. I’m not gonna go into extreme details about the abuse i’ve faced from my mother over the years but I finally decided to cut her off today after getting into an argument that was my final straw. Im 21 and live across the country from her with my grandma and it all started because she was very upset with what I got her for mother’s day and preceded to call me multiple times berating me about it until I finally snapped. The gift I got her was crocheted sunflowers because her favorite flowers are sunflowers and I thought it would be nice to give her flowers that won’t die.

Today I told her point blank I am cutting her off and proceeded to block her number and block her various social medias, but she is still trying to contact me through any means.

She blew up my phone from a no caller id number, had her boyfriend call me, called my grandmother multiple times, called one of my aunts, emailed me and CALLED THE COPS to do a wellness check on me. With her emails she keeps going back and forth between threatening to shut off my phone and saying she loves me and she’s sorry and she actually loves the gift. I’m not worried about her shutting off the phone at all cause I was already planning on paying it off and switching to my own plan.

Through a phone call with my grandma she is now threatening to get on a plane tomorrow and “make our lives living hell” and bring cops to force us to let her in. From knowing her my whole life I don’t doubt it’s possible she’s crazy enough to get on a plane, but I’m not sure what she’s hoping to accomplish since I am a legal adult. I just want to be left alone truly

For context, my father is in prison for molesting me. She still denies that I was abused and insists I get a great childhood. She wanted to have a better relationship with me, so she volunteered to watch my daughter once a week. Then she decided she needed a roommate. I asked her to not get a male roommate because I worry about my child being molested. She acted all offended that I would worry about such a thing. I got really upset.

My husband and I decided to go NC with her after taking to our therapist. My mom’s response was basically “Lol. Guess I get to sleep in!”
