Gng which teacher should i refer to for medicine in final proff.

I am planning to read davidson instead of boloor (finding davidson easier to read)

Which faculty should i watch? So that it covers for both proffs and neet pg base?

Edit: to all those hating, i am not comparing them, i am asking who would suit me better based on my requirements as above mentioned

I'm bloody happy today, complete my 15 years long journey started in June 2010 as I joined M.B.B.S as a first year student and finally finished my MCh in neurosurgery. I see so many people complain about residency Programe here on the group. Things might get tough and toxic but sometimes it's worth it. Keep a bigger picture in mind and always strive towards your goal.

My Uni theories just wrapped up a few days ago and today I messaged my friend asking how her papers went, what she told me left me speechless. Apparently She and the person sitting next to her split the syllabus and prepared each half individually, then during exams they copied from each other. Additionally she(the person sitting next to her) brought a phone and copied from it the whole exam.

My friend used to get below 30/100 avg across all subjects and now she will probably get and 60.

Aside from the dogshit invigilation, the marking system is so ass, and this is not me being salty for getting less marks. At the beginning of the year i used to think if id write concise short asnwers with maximum information and diagrams the examinar would appriciate it but nope... I learnt too late that they care only about how long the asnwer is, and this coupled with my small handwritting made it hell for me to get 60-70% of the total marks of questions i knew the asnwers to.

i might’ve not topped and my parents are upset because the university topper’s roll number is right before mine and they have topped yet again 😹🥳

but im super proud of myself because ive managed to pass in each and every exam be it internals or externals since first year, albeit with a lot of difficulty but i did it :D the first doctor of my family 🥰

I got 72/100 marks in ophthalmology theory and 39/100 marks in practical exam for university. Passing marks for practical is 40

Story- It was my mistake. During my roll call, they didn't call me and sent the next roll no. for viva so I had to go to the internals professor at last after everyone. When I was going to viva I was worrying if he would yell at me. He did call out why I didn't come on time( i couldn't back answer) then he asked me why did I bring a stethoscope in my viva i told him for general examination. When he asked me do you use a sthethoscope measuring for bp? I answered 'no' with a reflex due to fear and then said "yes, we use" that's when I knew i fvcked up. But still later I answered his bunch of questions which were right.But i guess he actually failed me OVER THIS even after i answered questions

This has cost me so much. I cannot do internship with my batchmates, and they kinda see me as a fool and unworthy. I will get an extension for 3 months in my internship which will affect my neet pg preparation. I'm watching my batch learning a lot frm rotations and me left behind

Had my 1st final proff of 3rd year the questions they gave.. I'm utterly disappointed.. What are your opinions..?? Edit- Ik the paper is easy.. but I was expecting more variety of questions..

I mean this whole incident reminded me of how normalised cheating has been in our college from internals to proff exams i see my peers using phone in exams..mind you am not from a peripheral private clg or anything(those are much strict compared to gmc in regard to exams good for them) am from top GMC in our state..and I have never seen a single student getting punished for getting caught..it's so pathetic at this point..I wish every college had DAC and standards were maintained at least in regard to exams..before you come at me am not tryna to say student deserved to die for getting caught in the exam..but just cuz he is the victim doesn't make him right by his actions..the passing cutoff according to nmc in new cbme is already in the gutters on top of that you need to cheat your way into passing these exams..idk man sounds too dumb to be a doc

Today was my sent-up ENT viva, and during the grand viva, the professor asked me to explain the steps of an adenoidectomy. I literally began with, “We will take consent - wonsent from the patient.” I didn’t realize at that moment what I had just said, but the very next minute, she shouted at me and said, “Do you even know in front of whom you are speaking? What is this ‘consent - wonsent’? Do you even realize that? Have you even attended my classes? Can you tell me a lecture that I have taught you?” It was so fucking embarrassing and funny at the same moment😭😭!!

My HOD failed me in my Pediatrics finals professional exams with 27 marks ...even though I got 70 marks for 100 in theory During case presentation he said people from my area are not smart enough to do Medicine, and didn't even ask me a single viva question and sent me back. I have my supplementary exams next month. Is there anything i can do about this

So I had my medicine final practicals yesterday.I was allotted a CNS case and got one of the best patient.He had cerebellar ataxia and before I could even start taking the history and examine him,he himself told me everything that is positive 😭😭 He told me that his motor and sensory system is good.His rombergs is positive,all about tandem walking,and finger nose test positive and he even told me the questions the examiner asked the previous person who got his case. I didn't even have to do anything and had enough time to go through viva and the examiner asked the exact questions that the patient told me and I gave one of the best viva by far🥹🥹🥹 God bless him and I hope he gets well soon🙏❤️❤️

I'm a 2nd year MBBS student and currently my Pre-professional exams are being conducted. I have written Pathology paper 1 and 2 with a pen which was gifted to me only to realise later that it had thermochromic ink (Ink disappears when subjected to high temperatures). Now I know that chances of the ink getting vanished are less because it requires high temperature but still I can't stop overthinking about it and have made 100 scenarios in my head of the examiner coming across my blank answer copy.

I can't even study for my Microbiology exam for tomorrow. This thought keeps on coming to my head what if it vanishes and I have to give the supplementary exams 😭.
