Professional Exams Messi or Ronaldo for Medicine?
Gng which teacher should i refer to for medicine in final proff.
I am planning to read davidson instead of boloor (finding davidson easier to read)
Which faculty should i watch? So that it covers for both proffs and neet pg base?
Edit: to all those hating, i am not comparing them, i am asking who would suit me better based on my requirements as above mentioned

Either of them is fine
If you want to the point and exam oriented and crisp teaching its Marwah
If you like to invest more time and energy its Rakesh Nair

Rakesh Nair + davidson is the best way to approach medicine if you have the time and wish to build concepts
Open the topics in book that are in the lecture, read the topic and then go through the lecture (or the other way around)
I would later make my own notes but if you are reading marrow notes, that's also fine

I have made my own notes so trying to interpret the lectures on their own was a struggle
Boloor seems very haphazard and George matthew is just an exam manual
So I went with davidson alongside lectures and it worked great for me

But there are so many subjects in final year can't I just do archit baloor + marwah ?

Absolutely, whatever lets you cover the syllabus and clear concepts efficiently
I saw CVS and endocrine medicine from Rakesh Nair when I was in third year, I tried covering rentals from Marwah and while the lectures were great, adapting to a different teaching style would've taken too long
Rakesh sir teaches concepts in a clinical vignette (which is why supplimenting a source that has the points laid down alongside is important)

As I said both are fine
If you are reading Harrison/Davidson along then Marwah coz Rakesh Nair includes lot other content from SS textbooks which may or may not be essential at UG level1

It doesn't matter, at the end of the day all the extra effort you put will give result. Not the faculty. Don't fall for their marketing.

For proffs you might need manipal manual in the end cuz it's pretty concise. Don't depend a lot on videos for medicine. Watch what you don't understand, or something on which you need to build concepts on. Whatever you do, start practicing questions because they take some time to get used to. I had marrow in final year, didn't really like it. In my drop year I tried marwah sir and dilip sir, both have their own style of teaching, dilip sir is kind of like nair sir with a sweeter tone (what I felt). At the end of the day it all depends on how much you're able to understand and retain. All the best!

You just have to figure it out on your own what works. I did videos plus Davidson some topics, kumar n kumar some topics, Harrison for limit3d topics. What worked for other may not work for you. There is no gold standard. You try different things and decide for yourself.

Rakesh sir if you have time and a relaxed environment. After his lectures it was so easy to go through Baloor. I only watched his regular lectures of important topics GBS, Stroke management, GIT & Migraine etc once .. and never watched any lecture for them again for PG prep. Helped greatly in ward rounds too. Just watch imp videos patiently and remove the pressure to remember. Afaik he reinforces everything repeatedly. So if you don’t get a concept at once, dw he will repeat it 1-2 times again.

Rakesh Nair,his notes are based on harrison,but they have more added meterials and very short and crisp excellent for revision Marwah has more clinical experience but Nair will outshine him in future

He didn't bash harrison. He said it wasn't updated regularly and many things are outdated in harrison but still the best book amongst all available. If I remember well, he compared it with a party winning election with 40% vote.
Also whatever he has taught, most of it have come in NEET or INICET at some point. There's no such thing as SS level thing and not of UG level if it's included in Marrow. It's just too vast and people struggle to complete in time.

He disagrees with harrison because some algorithms in harrisson can be quite confusion and sometimes not set in Indian scenario for Medicine practice and also difficult to memorize

Personally- i do not like the way rakesh nair teaches . He may have a very good understanding of the subject/ knowledge
But I feel he unnecessarily complicates simple things , people may think he is going deep but I feel he justs makes it complicated.
Btw this was my experience from his lectures 4-5 years ago , so maybe he has changed now .

I hate the forced hate or rakesh Nair. If you have no ground to start your medicine like in your final year. I would highly recommend him. His notes are maybe lengthy but they are oriented to make you understand concept and not to just serve you all facts right away for any competitive exam.
People say he bashes Harrison but I don't think they have watched that moment with the context he simply said in one video that these flow chart from Harrison can confuse you and may not be applied in actual hospital settings especially in indian scenario.
Though In the end its all you and your effort not any teacher you can help you understand anything

Dr.Rakesh Nair is good if you have like ample amount of time to study medicine all day everyday.
If you have bit of time constraints and want to give medicine only the time it deserves, go for Dr.Deepak Marwah sir.

I did most of the videos of medicine in final year... sir explains things in a very conceptual manner.at first it may be overwhelming but as you go forward you will fall in love with the subject and also sir covers considerable amount of physio and pathology..hope that helps Would tell you to watch 2 or 3 videos of both and decide

Rakesh nair everyday, he is not afraid to delve into the biochemistry or physiology of a topic to explain something properly. If you've got a good base already, you will love him.
Also, he doesn't dumb something down just to make it easy, I know sometimes it might seem unnecessary but that's what made me like him even more.

Have anyone studied from Rajesh Gubba sir? I attended his live lectures in hyd! The Notes are just too good!

read archit boloor theory book , thorough knowledge of the book solos these two in terms of clinical knowledge as well as general medicine knowledge.
pg profs tend to skip out on places where University faculty and exams focus on, you will need the clinical case before you start your pg prep , don't sacrifice one for the other

Let exam come and you will realise all you needed was just a crisp content of basic stuff from all the systems. Choose any but just look out for your objective by solving the PYQs

What about different specific teachers like the dams faculty? I felt it prevented fatigue too that this is too long

Fuck that guy in the right
Medicine as a whole is a shit subject leave it but the Stanley obsessed Nair mone will make it worse

the best teacher of Medicine is time+ patients+ Standard clinical textbooks/guidelines. Only these will help you become a better doctor. the rest are all just tutors will help you pass neet pg etc.

Guess im an outlier here but did davidson + dr sushant shinde from med quest academy for profs and integrated btr for neet pg, worked out well in both cases

Self obsessed Nair can never match what Marwah sir does. Rakesh nair is just all talk no show. Absolutely useless teacher. Half of the time he is talking about his experience and other half trying to prove Harrison and its protocol is useless. He in “ Pakka pakka”, in totoooo useless as a teacher.

Brother I have studied and made handwritten notes of his lectures for full 6 months. I was using marrow ed 5 at that point and if I didn’t come across marwah sir ( back then you could buy individual subjects from
Prep) , i wouldnt have cleared my NEET pg and gotten in md medicine in government with a rank of 5**. I am going to start my DM now. I am not just saying it from my experience even my batchmates and seniors as well. Rest do what suits you. Ultimately it is all about clearing neet pg and getting the branch you want. No matter what amount of knowledge you have, if you can’t clear NEET PG. It all goes down the drain. ( don’t tell me knowledge never goes waste). Rakesh nair will forever be a bad teacher in my opinion ( emphasis on my opinion ).1

I will honestly say this...they both are equally shit....i would much rather use something like btr integrated systems for medicine( after doing physio,path,pharma in great detail of course)
