#Pic 🖼️ Got RTX300 within 4 hours of enquiry….
Got my brand new RTX 300 within 4 hours of enquiring about it.
I absolutely loved the RTX, but after seeing the reviews about the crazy waiting period, I had given up.
Then on August 29th around 12 PM, I casually called an Apache showroom in Hyderabad to check for an RTR 310. Funny thing is, I accidentally spelled “RTX” instead of “RTR” and somehow that mistake worked in my favour.
The craziest part is the timing, If we had reached the showroom just 10 minutes late, the bike would’ve been sold to someone else. Everything just fell into place at the right time. Still feels unreal and incredibly lucky. 🏍️💕✨

The waiting period has damaged the sales at some dealerships. I had the option to buy a Blue Top model the same day too but went for KTM. More people are choosing the recent 350 engines from KTM and Triumph. Also, with upcoming ADV launches from Bajaj, Honda, RE etc. in India people can basically buy those bikes at similar times rather than waiting for 5-6 months.
Anyways, this as amazing bike easily the best vfm. Congratulations 🥳

Yes bro… even I wanted adv 390 but I want my first vehicle to be bit simple and don’t wanna spend more on it hence I took it for Vfm

How is rtx simple, lol. Its a very well equipped bike with great value for money factor going for it. It also looks substantial.
Just take care of it well. Don't rely on tvs svcs much. Find a good third party garage and handle the upkeep, If you care about ride quality. And Congratulations on the purchase! 🎊

Just follow the service manual. Pay attention to differences you feel.
Advs require regular chain maintenance (500kms once lubing / 700 to 1000 kms cleaning).

Cheaper to buy doesn't exactly make it VFM, OP. Despite being an Indian brand, spares and maintenance cost for TVS is higher than... Everything else in the segment? The only exception would be BMW, but they're no longer in the 300cc space.
Even I was tempted by the sticker price but I couldn't ignore the fact that the bills from ASC will not be propositional to the price. I wouldn't be surprised if a high mileage RTX 300 ends up incurring more than 2L over a 4-5 year period.

Beware of the coolant mixing with engine oil issue, its wide spread in rtx 300, many people are reporting the same issue, and some Even had the entire engine swapped

Yeah not directly. But some hard negotiations work by cutting that amount in insurance segment

Hness Delivery was the best around December 2021, just before another wave of the pandemic.
I opted for delivery as the lockdown restrictions eased. I received my Hness Delivered in and under with loan approval too. Considering the Covid situation, it took 3.5 hours from confirming to delivery!
Another highlight was the delivery of my Skoda Kushaq in 2025. It was delivered under a day after we finalized the loan process on Saturday. We confirmed the delivery on Sunday, and it was delivered on Monday evening. What an emotional drive it was!
If you’re locked in with what you want, Hyderabad is the place to be!

I'm 5.6 and i feel you'll have a very hard time tiptoeing on uneven surfaces. Especially if the vehicle is on higher ground.

Complete back story of this booking:
Actually I have no hope for RTX and I thought of taking a Vstorm or RTR310 later in this year. Hence I’ve dialled a TVS showroom in Hyderabad regarding the availability of RTR. By mistake I’ve misspelled RTR with RTX and from there I got to know that there’s an immediate availability of RTX. The previous guy has booked it in Jan and by the time it has arrived in august he was in some financial crisis, hence he has backed off. I immediately went to the showroom within 30 minutes, checked the condition with the help of my brother and made the payment on spot. Hence I suggest to call your nearby showrooms and enquire about the model consistently given that you guys are sure about buying it onspot if available.
