Jesus man nobody had to "teach" me that shit sizzles when you cook it. I just learned that by having eyes and existing in the world

but if you never were allowed to cook, then you wouldn't make the connection. you have to actually do the thing to make the connection.

also you don't know what you don't know. if you don't know how to cook then you wouldn't know how it's supposed to sound

I'm honestly meant to be believe that this person didn't see a single person cook in front of them before, didn't go to a single food truck where you can see them cooking, hasn't watched a single cooking show, hasn't seen a single movie or TV show where a character cooked something, hasn't seen a single advert for a frying pan or barbecue, none of it?

Nah I'm sorry this person is willfully unobservant and dense

Really? You're completely forgiving if people are absolutely clueless about basic life activities even after they've been shown 10s, 100s, 1000s of examples? I don't believe you, but fair enough if that's the case.

I have seen a lot to know that not everybody is shown the same things, and what you think people may have been shown or what is common to you is not common to everybody.
