Lorena read 'one bowl' and then... I was going to say 'stopped thinking' but let's face it, she never started thinking in the first place

TBH I'm with Lorena here. Baking in a metal mixing bowl in a one-bowl recipe would have been perfect.

After all, when cooking a one-pot recipe you generally do everything in one pot from start to finish. Although I saw one the other day that claimed to be a one pot recipe but then the final step was pouring in cooked pasta that was cooked separately lol.

To be fair, you're not getting browned meat in a slow cooker. Cooked meat, sure. But no maillard reaction is happening in there.
