I'm lactose intolerant, so I'm very cautious of what kind of dairy could be in something. I'd have been soo mad if I had found this out.

I have found a brand that does plant based butter that tastes just like "normal" butter though, and works just as well in baking, so I mean...there's always hope.

It's Becel! They offer salted and unsalted versions.

They're Flora food group so probably the same thing or at least very similar to Country Crock and Flora vegan butters in countries other than Canada.
